Jodie Turner-Smith commanded attention on Monday night as she slipped into her party outfit to head to the Met Gala after parties being held across New York City.

The actress and model, 37, was joined by Daniel Lee and glamorous Naomi Campbell at the party.

The beauty put on a very leggy display in a yellow sequinned miniskirt with lace-up detailing.

The Sex Education star left the tiny garment almost entirely unlaced to ensure her long legs were on full display.

Jodie teamed it with a matching crop top, showcasing her chiselled abs, and a quirky brown ombre handbag.

She completed her daring look with statement dangly earrings, black smoky eyeshadow and a light blonde pixie cut wig.

Jodie was seen stopping by Casa Cipriani for Richie Akiva's 10th Annual 'The After' Met Gala bash.

Earlier in the evening, Jodie stole the show at the Metropolitan Museum of Art for the annual Met Gala in an ethereal and bridal look.

She donned a white gown with a lace overlay adorned with an intricately embroidered floral design, to reference the Garden of Time dress theme.

The plunging neckline of the gown showed off her ample cleavage, while she also sported a sheer cape with a feather trim, which flowed behind her.

Jodie accessorised her look with a purple gemstone bangle and a matching necklace with a bejewelled cross pendant, while she held a blue flower.

Other stars in attendance for the evening included Kim Kardashian, who sent shockwaves as she flaunted her astonishingly small waist in a silver custom Maison Margiela gown by John Galliano.

'This year's co-chairs reflect a variety of career achievements, and all have distinct style histories with the Met Gala,' Vogue shared.

The showcase features approximately 250 items drawn from The Costume Institute's permanent collection — with many of the pieces too fragile to ever be worn again.

The pieces will all be displayed using elements such as AI, GCI, and more while playing up themes of land, sea and sky.

'It is very much an ode to nature and the emotional poetics of fashion,' said Andrew Bolton, Wendy Yu Curator in Charge of The Costume Institute, of the upcoming exhibition.

'One thing I hope this show will activate is that sensorial appreciation of fashion.'

Gwendoline Christie, La La Anthony and Ashley Graham hosted while YouTuber Emma Chamberlain was on hand to interview stars on the red carpet.

Last year's gala honored late designer Karl Lagerfeld.
